The CDA chairman has ordered a swift transfer of developed plots to allottees in various Islamabad sectors.
The chairman of the Capital Development Authority (CDA), Muhammad Ali Randhawa, has called for an expedited process to hand over developed plots to their respective allottees in several sectors of Islamabad. This directive was given during a review meeting held at CDA headquarters, where senior officials from different departments were present.
Officials reported that development in Sector C-14 is nearing completion, with over 95 percent of electricity supply arrangements finalized. Infrastructure enhancements, including the installation of light poles, street signboards, and landscaping along major roads, are also progressing well. Randhawa instructed the installation of digital information boards at sector entry points and announced plans to visit the site to oversee the handover process.
In Sector C-15, the construction of a sub-base for 37 streets is in progress, while efforts continue to obtain a no-objection certificate for a railway bridge. Development activities in Sector E-12 are advancing, with road sub-base work in sub-sectors 1 and 2 reported to be almost finished. Rapid progress has also been noted near the commercial center in this sector.
Additionally, construction of service roads in Sector I-12 is nearing completion and is expected to begin soon. Randhawa emphasized the importance of installing appropriate signboards, preparing electronic maps to locate plots, addressing electricity issues in Park Enclave, clearing encroachments, and finishing road carpeting in developing sectors.
The CDA chairman reiterated the authority's commitment to providing modern residential facilities to the residents of Islamabad and urged officials to eliminate any obstacles hindering development work, ensuring that plot possession can be swiftly handed over to allottees.
